Hi, newbie from the UK

Hi Everyone,

I've been a lurker on the board for a little while now and finally decided to post.

My name is Marie, and I'm 26 years old from Guernsey, Channel Isles, UK.  I've been referred for RNY and am currently waiting for my 1st consultation with the surgeon (sept 10th).

I am planning on updating my profile lots and documenting my journey and would love to chat with anyone going through the same, especially those close to my age, or in the UK.

I love the U.K., epecially the music. When I traveled to Ireland last spring, I returned hooked on Duffy, Kate Nash, The Ting-Tings, and now, thanks to myspace - Flamboyant Bella...English accents are sexy, I decided...

And yes, having an English accent is pretty handy.  In certain places in the world people seem to love it!
