Hey Selena,
Try to keep your head up. You have to take your vitamins its probably the cause of your hair loss. You just have to follow the program and eat what you are suppose to eat!. I know its got to be hard from eating basically anything you want to eating nothing. but gradually you will be happy with eating foods you can eat.
I havent had the surgery yet, so I dont know exactly what to tell you. I know its goign to be very hard for myself to not be able to eat things I love, but I tell myself that this is going to change my life and make me live longer.
You can do it!!!
I'll be thinking about ya!
And Selena......52 lbs is great!Congrates!

I can certainly support you! But as for advice, I think you already know what you need to be doing: take your vitamins, eat how you're suppose to, exercise, do what your doctor TOLD you to do before having this surgery!
Here might be some motivation for taking your vitamins and eating properly. YOU WILL GET SICK if you don't. You WILL have SERIOUS health problems if you don't! You don't want to be one of those individuals that was unlucky enough to get after weight loss anemia and have to have blood infusions often! You're suppose to be losing weight to be healthy! Not lose the weight to gain more health problems!
I would definitely go talk to your doctor, your nutritionist, and maybe even a physcologist! Get your head in the game or you will regret it later when your health takes a turn for the worst!
*HUGS* Please hang in there!!

hey sweetheart....i ditto what the other girlies said. you need to take your vits....thats soooo important....if you're having a problem remembering them, get a pill carrier or something and always keep a small stash in your handbag or whatever you have with you... in the beginning, getting used to taking vits every day was weird.... i used to set an alarm on my cell phone that would go off every day to remind me!! you should try it! it really helped. also set them someplace you constantly see them!!
as for food choices, you gotta stick to what the dr and the nut have told you to do... its so important, first off your pouch is so sensitive to foods still, even if you dont notice it!! go through the house and GET RID of everything you know is completely off limits. I'm 7 months out today, and i lived with 3 normal eating people, and it was harrrrrrrrrrd seeing the chips and the candy and the crap, but i made a section in the pantry full of "wls friendly snacks" like soy chips, fruits, pudding, even a small bag of sugar free choc. when i couldnt handle the cravings....and remember, you'll be able to have those bites of pizza or a french fry or so again, but the whole thing is learning how to eat them and why they are so bad for us! Also try using the Eatin' Good Thread.... i know i don't post as often as i should, but it does make you completely accountable. no one *****es you out for making a poor choice, but i know i feel really guilty when i type i had 2 dunkin munchins today! haha.... by seeing what you are eating out makes you reevaluate your choices, helps you plan ahead, and helps you to not make some of those same mistakes again. Also, by keeping a food log, you get really great at playing the calorie game...that is counting how many calories you are taking in. haha i actually have fun with it now,
use this board to help you....we all want everyone to succeed here!! pm me if ya need anything!! good luckkkkk

Selena~ I can most certainly be support to you. I just have to tell you to please eat and please take your vitamins. I am living proof of that. I almost died from a vitamin deficiency at 5 mos because I thought I wasn't losing enough weight and I quit eating. You can read about it on my blog, if you want. 52 lbs in 3 1/2 mos is actually great... and as for losing your hair, I did too. Mine did come back. I am here for you, girl, just please don't get sick!
