Eatin' Good -Thursday!
Howdy folks,
I know this is early, but I'm going to a movie tonight so I am likely to get home too late and forget to post this if I wait much longer. I am good at that you know.
I have felt not hungry at all today. It might be the heat or whatever, but food has just not been appealing so I haven't eaten as much as usual because I don't feel like forcing myself. Also I have been getting fuller on less lately, not sure what that is about, but who ever knows with my bi-polar pouch. Anyway, here's the menu...
9-Noon (I sipped on this all morning) - 4 oz espresso, 8 oz steamed 2% milk and 1 oz sf vanilla davinci syrup
9:30am - 1/3 my oatmeal mixture, just not hungry for the rest
20 oz water
12:30pm - 2 Supreme Pizza Bundinos (they are funky little frozen things my husband bought last week when I was away at camp...they are okay but not anything special or particularly good for you)
20 oz water
4pm - 3 oz sliced monterey jack cheese w/ 6 pretzel crisps
Currently I am working on my 20 oz bottle of water, and later tonight I'm going out to dinner at a place called "Chicago's Best" that I have never been to before, but I am told they have awesome chicken caesar salad, and that sounds mildly appealing.
How is the eating going out there?

Work was pleasant and tomorrow is jean day, what isn't to like about that. They are having a food day tomorrow at work, it is my first one since my surgery. I am going to make strawberry and cantalope skewers. Now as long as I can find some protein there (which shouldn't be a problem) I should be in good shape.

Snack- 1/2 of a pure protein bar (10)
Lunch- 6 apple cinnamon soy crisps with 2 Tbspn of PB (8)
Dinner- 1/2 of a small low carb tortilla topped with 1/4 cup of a blackbean taco meat mixture, topped with cheddar cheese (14)
Snack later - 1/2 cup of protein icecream (25)

Being honest is what this forum thread is about so here is me being honest...
B-Bk chicken bisquit minus 1/3 of the top bisquit peice, with one packet grape jelly
s-club crackers (10), 1 serving of cheetos puff corn, 20 m&m's
L-Michealinas ziti parmesan (gross), 20 m&m's, 10 club crackers
S-Oatmeal cream pie, 2 dove chocolate promises
D-Tortilla chips (20) w/ salsa and maybe 1/2 a taco salad (salad w/ taco flavored chicken 1 tbsp sour cream)
so that is what my eating has come to...sad isn't it. Well tonight I went to the grocery store and I am going to be serious about it...I bought no processed foods (except fiber one bars which i must have and some wheat thins they are not so bad) i bought plums, apples, cucumbers, yogurt, cottage cheese, salad, some veggie dip to go with the cut up cucumbers and baby carrots. bought shredded wheat and milk for breakfast. So lets see if the scale will start moving. I am also going to take my sneakers to work and walk for 20-30 min on my lunch. I work at a large credit union and there is plenty of space to walk inside in the air conditioning so i wont get hot and sweaty...So here is to good habits!! Let the wedding countdown begin! (i bought dove chocolate and watermelon sour patch kid thingys I said I was being honest)
