New to 20s!

OMG! I had no idea this was here!! It wasn't until just now- I was browsing the forums & I found this. I'm sooo glad too b/c I was like wow I was feeling intimidated by some of the older people. So far I've met some pretty cool people. I started the forums last month and already went to a meet n greet. It was fun, too!
Anyway, I'm 22 from Htown (Houston Texas). Like some of you, I've been big all my life and finally decided this year to change that. Both of my parents have diabetes and my father has cancer. I really don't want to end up like that.

So does this forum have meet n greets? I wanna meet new people. Especially a workout buddy!

Hey and welcome :) This board is awesome! I'm from Houston too, well Michigan but i've lived in Houston for 1.5 years. I've met one person from here but haven't really done a meet and greet. How far are you in the process?

I know right? I live in Clear Lake and it's like a 20 min drive to the medical center where my surgeon and nutritionist are.
