Wow, it's been a looooong time!
Hey y'all...It's been FOREVER since I've been on here...as many of you know (or knew and might have forgot) I've been working at a camp all summer...I don't have much time to write, but wanted to post a quick post to say HI and I miss you guys!!!!! I've been at the camp for a month and a half and I still have three weeks left...I am pretty much over it and am ready for it to be over! I am a counselor with the 15s (the oldest kids on camp) and they think they can get away with whatever they want and don't have to listen to anyone. Sooooo annoying! I have met a lot of amazing people though (the other counselors I work with). The food sucks at camp and is horrible for you...it's been pretty much making me ill all the time.
Well, I'm exhausted so I'd better head to bed...I will be back in action in about a month!!!!

Oh...PS...just got the news that my Dr. is moving from San Fran to Kentucky to be the head of a bariatric center there...i'm soooooo sad :(

Yes, we have definetely missed you around here! Sorry to hear about the bad camp food, I guess that's par for the course though. Have you been able to stash away some healthy food in your bunk? I saw your photo album on myspace - I like the hairsytle and that camp looks just like the one I went to in the Berkshires years ago, just a lot newer and cleaner...How is your mom doing? It sounds like she certainly has a great support network!
Too bad about your doctor moving out of state, I had to move away from my doctor and find a new one and it really wasn't that easy - most doctors don't want anything to do with other doctors' patients for a variety of reasons - I think the only one's that are really interested are ones who do a lot of revisions on other doctors' work because there is a chance they could make some decent money from you down the road in the unlikely event you will need a revision! I heard Stanford has a great bariatric program though....
Good luck on getting through the next few weeks, and we look forward to seeing you back around here soon! BTW - I still have my credit with Southwest for the trip to San Fran to see my brother that I cancelled in April so I could go to Europe...I've got to use them up by next April, so I'm thinking about making a trip there some time in the not-to-distant future...I'll keep you Bay Area WLS buds posted!
