OT: Great News!!!!

I got engaged yesterday morning!!!!!

I have waited all my life for a man as wonderful as Anthony. I am over the moon excited! He was so sweet and thoughtful when he asked me. I still can't hardly believe that I am going to be someones wife!!! Yeah!!!!!

I had the big ol' wedding and I wish I didnt. I spent too much time on worrying about the wedding and not the marriage. So if I can give you any advice, just remember its the marriage that counts not the wedding! Goodluck! How exciting!

CONGRATS!  That is wonderful news.  I'm with Mommyambie, don't freak out too much about the actual wedding.  Keep it simple for yourself!  You'll make a BEAUTIFUL bride!

Congratulations!!! One word of advice. My husband and I spent almost EVERY moment together for the past 7 years. While we had a great time and we are great friends, I am now seeing the reprocussions of not spending enough time apart to actually miss each other. Love is fantastic and when it is true, it is great. Just don't lose yourself as an individual first, and make sure to give him room to do the same. I wish you the best of luck Future Mrs.!

Congratulations! I laughed when I opened this thread, becasue I saw you post the thread, and immediatly thought to myself "I bet he proposed!" From all that you have said about the lucky groom-to-be he sounds like a great guy. You guys are blessed! Good luck on the wedding plans...down the road when you start planning, I've still got this incredible spreadsheet I put together for planning my wedding that uses formulas to calculate and keep track of everything, let me know if you'd like it, and I can email it to you!

Thank you all soooo much!!!! We set a date tonight it is 2-28-2009!!!! Only 7 months to get everything done...I am a major planner so I have already started stuff...lol he justs laughs at me when I start asking him his opinion on stuff like "do I have a choice?" lol but he is being really good about everything...I will post some pics on my blog its...
