Stretch marks on your arms? HELP... Surgery or Coverup?

Hey everyone,
I have horrible stretch marks on my upper arms. Does anyone else here have the same problem? I feel like I am the only one and I feel embarrassed to wear short sleeves. Does anyone have a solution? Make-up? Laser Surgery? Or any way they cover it up?
Any advice is appreciated because I am so young and feel like I shouldn't have to cover up my arms forever

Early out I was completely in your shoes- my arms were the bane of my existance.  I've been working them hard, they have a tan and now I'm proud of how far I've come.  The stretch marks have faded some with the tan and I flaunt my progress.

The trick is to love them no matter what!!!

I am so glad you are able to be proud! I am still NOT and don't think I ever will be. I am really looking into the Laser surgery for them. I just wish I could find someone who had positive experience with the surgery.

How far out are you?  I wouldn't do any kind of surgery until I was done losing or close to it.  The arm changes the most... in my opinion.  I am still very self conscious about the underside.  While I'm working with the animals it always flaps about... but I keep my feeling inside and no one else seems to make a comment.  If you act confident, no on will be suspicious.

I have stretch marks on my arms, but they are white, not pink.  The only thing is that since surgery, basically any place that has stretch marks before is now loose and kinda jiggly.  No point in covering up my stretch marks on my arms if they are still gonna dangle around.  I might consider an arm lift later on.

I try to own the jiggles and not let it affect me, but I usually end up wearing short sleeves that make them less noticeable.  Still too chicken to wear a sleeveless shirt or tank top.

Yeah mine are white also! However, they still seem so noticeable since I have a lot of them. They have surgery for EVERYTHING now, and I am hoping that  laser surgery will fix the problem a little. I hate to even wear short sleeves!  I am going to look into the procedure more.

I am 4 1/2 years out so I think this is the way my arms will always look!

I think that we worry about the jiggle / stretch marks a heck of a lot more than anyone else cares about them.  I have the same problem, except my stretch marks on my arms have gotten lighter, so even though they are still there they are not as noticeable as they were.  To further minimize my arm flub and stretch marks I use the tinted lotion to help everything blend better - I figure my arms are less noticeable when they are not glaring white.

After that I just refuse to let the little things bother me.  I wear my tanks and tube tops with pride even though my arms flap.

I found cocoa butter has worked the best on my stretch marks - as time has passed they have become more smooth and whiter so they are not as prominant.
Honestly you are the only one noticing your stretch marks.. nobody else is looking :-) the solution is to just learn to love your arms as is. Also - start looking at 'normal' girls - they have stretch marks too... since its summer I spend a lot of time at the pool and see all sorts of wiggle, jiggle, stretch marks on these young girls in their bikinis.

Thanks ladies for your advice... it's just very HARD to accept stretch marks on your arms. Anywhere else and I would be fine!
