Eatin' Good -Monday

It has been a hot (well, hot for Wisconsin at 90 degrees) and humid Monday up here in the Midwest.  I'm plugging along at a couple summer classes and hoping the end of the week will bring cooler weather.  Heat makes me kind of turned off to food, so today it was a little bit of a struggle to get everything in but I did pretty well...

7:30am - 4 oz espresso, 8 oz steamed 2% milk, 1 oz sf divinci vanilla syrup

9am - the first half of my now-typical morning oatmeal (1/4 cup dry weight control oatmeal microwaved w/ 1/2 cup water, then I add 1/4 cup chopped toasted almonds, 1/4 cup 2% milk and a little honey)

20 oz water

11:30am - the second half of my oatmeal (I'm thinking of adding frozen berries to the mix tomorrow just to shake things up and get some more fruit back into my diet...)

20 oz water

3pm - 3 oz shredded BBQ beef and 1.5 oz cheesy hashbrowns

20 oz water

6:30pm - 4 oz "Tex-Mex chicken casserole" (leftovers from something I tossed together...)

20 oz water

9:30pm - 1 small slice of thin crust deluxe pizza

Tomorrow I'm thinking that if it isn't nasty hot and humid I'll drag out the grill for some steak and veggies steamed inside of a aluminum foil packet.  Need more veggies....

So are you eatin' good?

All and all it was a good day, my energy is higher than it has been in possibly years.   I feel like the weight lost has lifted my energy level....I can only imagine what is yet to come.

So for the food.....
Breakfast- 1/2 of a south beach pb protein breakfast bar (5)
Snack- other 1/2 of the south beach pb protein breakfast bar (5)
Lunch- 1/2 cup of Michelle's Mexican Bake (great leftovers!!!) (10)
Snack- 12 almonds (3)
Dinner- 1-1/2 oz of salmon patty 2 T. of green beans (12)
Snack-protein icecream (I need to up the protein) (23)

So...yesterday i woke up with a wicked headache and some other issues and didn't make it into work...

B-3 sips of protein shake

L-5 pizza rolls

D-1 helping of cheeseburger cassarole, 10 sweet potato fries, 1/4 cup broccoli and cheese

S-Angel food cake with sugar free cool whip and some danon light and fit yogurt in blackberry flavor on top (awesomely good!!) and a piece of toast with butter and grape jelly later closer to bedtime...

went on a 4 mile bike ride with my Mom and Aunt...fun!

i went to the gym in the morning, and i hate eating before the gym (i feel nauseous!) so again no real breakfast breakfast but i had an ounce of 75% rf cheese
 lunch - 4 shrimp, 1oz 75%rf cheese, and some cucumbers and tomato
snack- couple pretzel sticks and again 75% fr cheese
dinner - one of the gorton fish fillets, greenbeans, and a spoonful of broccoli cheese rice
night time - cherries and 4 crackers

so, i'm sure you all have used it, but my new obsession is thedailyplate.com haha i love that it tells me how many calories i have remaining for the day and when i put in my exercise calories it tells me how much i can eat... its crazy how QUICKLY these calories add up. I'm eating about 900 a day... since getting back ot my food logging, i am noticing i am letting myself snack on too many carby death traps like pretzels and crackers.. its so hard bc they are sooo good haah. how do you guys get thru the cravings?
