I FINALLY DID IT!! Down 101 lbs as of TODAY!!
I don't post on here very much, I just seem to not have the time, but I do get to get on and take a gander every once in awhile. I just needed to share my excitement with someone as the only person that knows of my surgery is my husband and he has been working all day....So for the past month I had hit a HUGE stall....I would just fluctuate back and forth between 2-3 lbs difference. My goal was to be down 100lbs at the 6 month mark, although my surgeon said that it was not a very reasonable goal. And I ended up not meeting that since it was 6/18/08, I started at 276 and today I stepped on the scale and it FINALLY read 175!!!!!!! I only have 35 more lbs til goal weight!!!!
This journey has been so quick and I would not change it for the world...I just wished I would have gotten married this Sept. instead of last. I can't even look at my wedding pictures. I never want to be be that person again.
Now....if I could just get rid of these stretch marks!!!!!!!!
YAY!!! CONGRATULATIONS on your fabulous weight loss! I completely understand what you mean about not wanting to look back at your old wedding pictures but look at the person you've become. You are doing wonderfully. Great job not letting that one month stall halt your progress.
