Eatin' Good - Saturday and Sunday

I start the thread up again and then I have to split for the weekend.  Figures.  Actually I am going to a friend's wedding out of town so I won't be back around a computer until Monday.  But that doesn't mean everyone else (and me) shouldn't eat well.  So, post without me and I'll check back on Monday.

So far on Saturday here is what I have eaten...

9am -1 Ka****LC honey almond flax granola bar

11:30am - 4 oz espresso, 8 oz steamed 2% milk, 1 oz sf davinci vanilla syrup

I was feeling icky for most of the morning - probably because I went grocery shopping before my coffee (I am addicted, no lie), so I didn't eat very well...

20 oz water

3pm - 3/4 cup mini raviolis

20 oz water

And I have no clue what else.  I'm leaving for my mom's house in about half and hour and all I know about what is to come is that we're going to the fireworks (I know it is a week late, the towns around here stagger their fireworks so people can go see several showings in the area over the week before to the week after 4th of July).  And tomorrow the wedding I'm going to starts at noon with a brunch reception, so we'll see what happens.  Have an awesome weekend and eat good!

 UPDATE FROM MONDAY....

Here is the rest of Saturday...

8pm - 1 slice of thin crust supreme pizza, with part of the toppings from another slice piled on top (I LOVE pizza toppings - the peppers, red onion, mushroom, pepperoni and sausage are so good together)

8 oz "sleepy time" tea w/ a squirt of honey

Sunday

8am - 12 oz coffee w/ 2 oz half and half

9am - 2 bites of a "strawberry biscut" from Hardees....(DH wanted a biscut from Hardee's on the way out of town, so we pulled through the drive thru and they have these things which look like strawberry shortcake minus the ice cream...I don't know what I was thinking...and I ordered one of them.  I get these freshly baked biscuts - still crusty and hot on the outside and fluffy and warm on the inside - topped with a strawberry mix - think pie filling only not as syrupy - and icing.  I had two small bites and then I told DH to either eat them or get them out of my car.  They  were way too sweet...)

20 oz water

1:30pm - about 4 bites of salad (leafy greens, a cuke slice, a cherry tomato and a couple crutons), 3-4 oz roast beef, 4 bites mashed potatoes (at the wedding)

2/3 glass of white wine, 20 oz water, 8 oz decaff coffee, 2 bites cake

5:30pm - 4 bites of my nephew's jr. whopper (great choice )

20 oz water

8:30pm - 8 oz tomato, spinnach, "ravioli" soup - broth based soup w/ chunks of tomato, spinnach, and small cheese-stuffed raviolis

well so far I am doing better then the hamburger helper the other day

8am coffee, dash of 2 % milk , 2 packets of splenda french vanilla

10 am : a bit of organic lemon bar from the farmers market and a bit of some horrible stinky cheese danish...lol...it must be because it is organic and they dont use all that crappy in them but all I could taste was stinky cheese.

ooh and some organic , no sugar added apple juice

12:30 pm: half  , while almost a half of an organic blueberry muffin warmed up and a little I cant believe its not butter

I dont know if you have noticed but I went to the farmers market today and bought alot of organic stuff and some fresh salmon to grill tonite....so I will update later after I try it ...never had salmon before**

Tomorrow my DH and I are hitting up the local bike trails.   I started my second job back up today (first time since surgery--2 months).  I missed working at the hospital, so I am glad to be here.  My DH fixed my bike, picked me up a new seat, and a helmet (safety first right?).   He started biking everynight for the past week, so it is time for me to catch up I am excited.

So for Today's food...

B- 1/2 of a soy chick'n patty topped with pizza sauce and mozz. cheese (8)

L- 1oz of peanuts (7)

D- other half of chick'n and 2 oz of green beans (8)

My protein is low today, so I will be having some beef jerky soon, and a protein shake when I get off work tonight.   Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!

slept thru breakfast again...whoops

lunch- lf string cheese and 2oz ham lunch meat

snack - cherries :)

dinner - little bit of a baked potato, 1/2 ear of jersey corn (yummm) and chicken

snack - ounce of cheese and a slim a bear icecream (mm i was craving ice cream like none other)

now im watching the next food network star... is it bad that everything theymake i try to think up ways that it would be wls friendly? haha

SUNDAY....

Breakfast- 1/2 c protein icecream--I did the mint chocolate chip (23)
Lunch- 1/3 cup Michelle's Mexican Bake---it was AWESOME! (10)
Dinner- 1/4 cup of pastaless lasagna and 1/2 of a soy chicken patty topped with spaghetti sauce  and mozzarella (12)
Snack later---more protein icecream of course! (23

Oh...FYI if you don't want things double spaced instead of hitting enter, hit shift + enter at the same time...it works :)

I went biking today for the first time in 12 years.  It was good and bad, good because it is quite the workout we went on great paved trails...bad because I am out of shape.  I have lost 60 pounds so far, but I am still a big girl and I felt my largeness today!!!!  One day at a time, and I a will keep at it until biking is a good/good instead of a good/bad!  I CAN DO IT!!!

well today I didnt eat much... last night after we grilled salmon which was ssoooo good by the way my friend called me , she wanted to go have a drink because her and her husband got into a fight. so after like 4 cape cods ....I was pretty smashed ....but, I was a dancing machine so I think I burned those calories off....I did make a BIG mistake ....we did the drunken Krystal's thing (oooh for yall on the coast and up North ...it is just like White Castle) well I got about 1 down before I was asking her to pull over because I inhaled that think so fast !!! I was throwing up on the side of the road....lol...I will not be dont that again needless to say.

anyways here it goes:

1/4 of an organic Blueberry muffin

1/2 peanut butter and strawberrie jelly sandwich

Saturday

B-1/2 a bisquit w/ sausage gravy

L-open face (1 peice of bread) bologna and cheese sandwich

D-4oz roast beef, broccoli and cheese and boiled potatoes

S-Dairy queen childs cone ice cream

 

Sunday

B-1 and a half waffle w/ s/f syrup and 1 scrambled egg

L-2 cheesesticks, 1 small chicken breast grilled w/ A1 sauce and not even half of a half of a baked potato 1 roll (ate at Logans for my aunts birthday)

D-some popcorn that didn't sit well with me and 1/2 a open face bologna and cheese sandwich

S-some tortilla chips and a apple and one slice of peach covered in splenda that made me have to call in sick to work...i can eat regular sugar but fake sugar makes me sick...weird!!!

I can't believe I remembered everything...guess I pay more attention than I thought to what I eat

Except for the "fake sugar" used in the my coffee syrups...weird...

I can use one scoop of splenda in my protein shakes and that is it...

Beautiful.  It was outside and a country club, so it was a little windy but really nice otherwise.  We had a lot of fun.
