How did I miss this?

I don't think I've ever been on this board before.  I'm not sure how I missed it. Hi! So I shared on my local board, but I spent the last month in Spain in an exchange program with my school.  It was pretty amazing, but also scary because I was staying with a host family, where I would have little/no control over what I was eating. I came home thinking that I had gained weight, but I jumped on the scale over the weekend, and I managed to lose like 7 pounds while I was gone.  I was pretty floored. Anyway, just thought I'd say hi and share!  I'll make sure to check this board more often now that I know it's here.  =)

Hi! I work in Arlington as a 911 dispatcher. I will be having lap RNY in October. How was Dr. Moazzez and his staff? He's going to be my doctor :) Congratulations on your weight loss thats great! Tennille

He is a great doctor and his staff is wonderful.  I have an appointment on Thursday.

I did, I haven't since I moved home from Colorado.  I miss it.

Then its time to pick it back up!

I need to find a place to do so....it's been 6 years.  Scary thought.

Spain is such a beautiful country~ It's awesome you got to do an exchange program there.  I did an exchange program to Cork, Ireland in my senior year of college.  That was a lot of fun as well.  Congrats on losing another 7 lbs... you are doing well on your weight loss!  As for playing the bassoon?  GREAT instrument!!!  I never was able to master the double reeds, but I play clarinet and alto and bari saxophones.  Have a great day!!
