So i just got home from a movie with the boy and im on my 8th and final day of pre-op liquids. Im about to pack my bags and TRY to get some sleep tonight although i highly doubt that will happen very easily. I've been very quiet all day and im not sure if its because im nervous or because im in serious shock that TOMORROW is the first day of my new life. 7 months ago i was at the seminar and praying that this day would come and now its here. I have a lot more emotions than i thought i would. Im not quite sure how to feel. All i do know is that im SO ready and SO excited. Please keep me in your prayers and i will be sure and let you all know how things are going as soon as i get home :) Hope yall have a good week and good luck to anyone else having their surgery in the next few days! -Courtney www.myspace.com/lookitscourt

Goodluck! Things wil be great and just think that in a few days months you wil be alot lighter, healthier and happier! I will pray everything goes smoothly! BTW- How much did you lose on your liquid diet? Im trying to get some weight off now so I can be scheduled for my surgery.

Hey girl :) thanks so much for the prayers and well wishes. My liquid diet was a little different than others. For 8 days I had to drink 6 SFcarnation instant breakfasts a day and then at least 48 oz. of any other sugar free/ calorie free or very low cal liquid. I lost 11 lbs so thats nice :) heh Good luck!!!!!

I will be sending good vibes your way. Good luck with everything. and if you end up crying in the operating room like i did here what my nurses said to me " you aren't the first person to cry in here, and you wont be the last" (I thought it was funny) so don't worry and we will see you on the losers bench!
