Hey just a quick question for everyone:  Did anyone here go down or stay their original shoe size after their first...oh lets say first 50lbs lost??(just throwing that weight number out there)  Any and all comments would be appreciated.  I just saw these gorgeous gorgeous shoes on this web-site and I really would like to order some because they are so cute and suprisingly cheap and I dont want to miss the chance to splurge a little-just unsure due to not being able to tell what my shoe size will be by lets say December. . just kinda want to get an idea of what to expect..thanks everyone!

It depends how pudgy your feet are.  Mine have always been pretty skinny and boney, so I've lost over 150lbs and all that's really changed is that I've gone down about 1/2 a shoe size and no longer wear a wide shoe.  All my old shoes fit just fine still.  I'd get them to fit you as you are now.

I have gone down almost a 1 1/2 sizes. I would go to a store, and just try on a few pair to see were your at.

I have heard of people's foot size changing once they loose weight. I know that mine will probably change. My foot size has gone up just like my weight over the years. Personally, I would wait to order any expensive shoes till you get to your goal weight (as painful as that might be....lol). Megan

I'm just under three months out and my shoe size has gone down by a half-size and is no longer a wide.  Luckily it's summer, so I'm sticking with my flip flops for the most part.  Although, I did have to buy new tennis shoes since my other ones got big enough that I started getting blisters from the rubbing.

Well I can't remember after the first 50 lbs, honestly, but all in all, I lost 2 to 2 1/2 shoe sizes (depending on the brand).  I was a 9 1/2 before and now I'm a 7 to 7 1/2.
