I'd say at it's worst my hair was about 30% thinner, now it's about 20% thinner - mostly on the top....but I am a guy less then 6 months away from turning 30 with tons of bald male relatives, so that probably has something to do with it tooScratch-Head.gif

I started losing hair at about 2 months post op.  Most people say it starts at about 3 months post op.  I'm a week short of being 4 months post op and it seems to be slowing down.  Really, it isn't bad.  I definitely shed more and more comes out when I'm combing it or something, but no one else would notice it. jayme

hi, i`m 5 months out. and that`s the only thing that worrys me about the surgery. and was the 1 thing i asked my surgeron.

and i star loosing some hair last month is not that bad, but is for me `cuz i had a hair problem before so i`m on treatment. but don´t worry. usually stops in 3 months or so.
is not only for not getting protein is for the anestisia too. so try to eat well. there is nothing you can do to stop it. just eat better.
good luck, and don´t worry about that. iy grows back.

I started noticing my hair loss about two weeks and i am just under three months out.  I don't really think anyone would actually notice but of course I do when I wa**** or bru**** out.  I hear it's all part of the process and not to worry too much about it.  Just make sure to get in all your protein and vitamins.  You might also want to ask your doctor (or someone in the office) about possibly taking Biotin.  It's another vitamin supplement that I have started taking and is supposed to be good for skin and nail strength as well as helping to slow the loss of hair.  It can be found in just about any store where they have a good selection of vitamins. Hope this helps!
