Hi All - I normally read all the posts and post nothing however when I stumbled on this forum I thought - thank God - people my age who are going through this process!!  My first meeting with the surgeon is on July 21st and I am obsessed with anything WLS.  I keep reading and reading.   So here is one of my main questions...what is the extra skin like for younger people?  I know it is going to vary from person to person but I think being younger has it's advantages - right?!  Thoughts?

As of right now I have had a LOT of sagging skin, it is not "bouncing back" as people say it sometimes does.  It might down the road but it has not as of yet.  When I get on the scale, I am about 8lbs lighter when my husband holds my stomach skin.  Granted there is still some fat in it but its getting pretty hangy.  My arms are almost completely skin now and they have not "bounced back" either. I dont want to be the horror story to anyone but its just how it has been for me.  I know some people havent had the same skin issues I have had too.  Also look at my stats below, I had a lot of weight to lose too.
