I know its not much, but im excited! I gave lots 6 lbs in 5 days and I feel great. Ive been working out like a crazy person. I do 2 hours at the gym, 2 mile walk, and I do excercise videos. Ive cut back ALOT of my eating and calories. Im now having problems though with cravings... I have been having a problem with eating after 10 o clock. I like to snack before I go to bed. Im having serious cravings right now and I DO NOT want to give into them. Ive tried some SF jello, SF popsicles, fat free yogurt... (not all at once =) lol) Any suggestions? I only have 15 more lbs to lose till I can call to have my surgery scheduled. Im hoping I can call them by next monday.

I would say drink lots of water... It fills me up, I know that for sure.  I've used it lots of times to keep myself from grazing.  That's about the extent of my half awake suggestions cuz you mentioned all my other ones lol.  Good luck... you're almost there and doing really well!  I send you many positive thoughts!

I understand those...a week ago, I had them so bad, I just went to bed. If it was the middle of the day, I'd drink a big glass of water.  Usually found out I was more thirsty than hungry. Something I heard once was that with cravings, you know it's more of a mental thing than a physical hunger.  I know it's easier said than done and I should follow my own advice.  Go for a walk, and if it tends to come up, possibly because you are watching tv, get up and go do something...I will go for a walk or find something to take my mind off of wanting the food. I can say after surgery it's much easier to deal with (at least for me).  I can usually talk myself out of it now. OH, and if you figure you need to eat something, you can always get in the habit now of making it something with protein...that curbs hunger.  So cheese or turkey/beef jerky is a good snack. Hope it helps somewhat...  And Congrats on the 6 pounds!!

if you need something besides the regular sugar free jello, pudding and such. when you have a craving for chips or cookies, i find that those 100 calorie packs, well they even have 90 calorie packs are awesome. just stick to only one bag though! they have all sorts of flavors.

Thanks guys! Yeah the water actually did help.. a little. lol. I have tried the 100 calorie packs, and they are really good, except I never really have a sweet tooth and really dont ever like it.  I just remembered right now that usually when I drin****d tea it fills me up. If I drink it with my meal I dont eat as much. So I got some decaf tea and splenda.  Thanks for the suggestions and support. The first 3 days were hard because I wasnt seeing the results, but now that the pounds are coming off and im getting such a rush out of excercising im determined to get this weight off so I can finally have my surgery and sit next to you guys on the losers bench. Also! Good news!... My mom is now 7 weeks out and has lost 40 lbs! from 226 to 186! She went from a size 20 and is now fitting in some 14!!!! Im so happy for her... and excited because shes got some REALLY cute clothes I can steal from her when I start losing! Thanks again!
