So my surgery was tuesday morning and I came home wednesday night (mainly because i begged them to let me go home). I had open surgery so it's really hard for me to sit upand stuff which I assume is completely normal. I totally underestimated this. Not that I regret it in the least, but I just think I underestimated how I would feel. Thank God for liquid percocet! lol.... no.. really I'm doing ok... just moving really slow. I'm having alot of trouble getting in all of my liquids.... or any/ much for that matter.

anyways... just letting everyone know I made it to the other side. :)

You are a braver soul than I lol.  I was in the hospital for 3 nights after my open RNY and another in the guest house across from the hospital for observation.  Yes, indeed, being sore is completely normal.  Welcome to the loser's bench.  You'll be up and doing fine in no time, but get plenty of rest and remember, sipping is the key when it comes to the liquids.  You'll be in my thoughts!

Welcome home!  Keep taking your meds, the process will heal better :) I couldn't get all of my liquids in at first either, one step at a time, sweetie!

The more things the change, the more they're still the same.
