OT: Another life decision?
So I've been doing a lot of thinking recently. I have been taking online courses through Penn Foster College for an Associates in Business Management. I've only put about $300 into it. I'm now thinking I want to go into the medical field. I want some opinions if you guys are willing to help! I would love to go to school for one of the following: Xray Tech, Ultrasound Tech, Pharmacy Tech, Phlebotomy, Physical Therapy Assistant, or possibly Medical Assisting. I know that's a LONG list to try and decide from, but I will eventually get down to what I want. Is anyone here that is or has done one of the things from my list? I am very interested in the medical field. I talked to a few people who have Business degrees and have never used them a day in their life. And there isn't really as much of a demand as there is for medical. Anyway, I am really having a hard time deciding what to do. I am paying monthly right now for school...so I need to decide soon. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! You guys are the best. I can come to you with anything! Thanks again!<3
Xray and ultrasound get paid well, and they are versitle - personally this would be what I would pick
I think pharmacy tech is pretty low grade - like $12-$13 an hour... dont think that it would be a great choice pay wise
PT assistant would be good, you can do a lot with that type of degree Id think
Medical Assisting a lot of times can be all the grunt work, none of the glory
