My food journal is one of the big reasons I have been successful, and when I don't do it - yikes. I am the "just a ____" queen - just a few chips, just a couple crackers, just a bite of cake, just a sip of whatever - until I have "just a____" myself an extra 400-500 calories / 40-50 extra grams of carbs throughout the course of the day. But when I know I have to write it down I can usually control myself - just that extra second to pause and think about it helps a lot.
We can't eat a whole bag of anything in one sitting - but one handful at a time over the course of the day and we can. Ah the dangers of WLS.
I hope tracking works for you. Join the Eatin' Good thread (when I remember to post it...) always happy to have more posters
