I avoided the gym completely this week. My back was really hurting, and not being to take NSAIDS sucks. I broke down and went to the doctor on Friday and got an MRI so we can evaluate what's wrong and what to do about it and in the meantime got a shot of Toradol to try to get me through this epsisode of inflamtion. Hooray, for shots in the buttocks. I even got a Tweety-bird band-aid for my bum. I'm feeling a little better now, and managed to get a strong 100 minutes of "speed-landscaping" in yesterday. I had my heart rate up, so I'm counting it!  Tonight, I think I will try this yoga class my wife has been touting at our gym. Perhaps, after tonight I can officialy declare myself meterosexual, or at the very least, slightly crunchy granola.
