I quit your crappy club!    muahaha! I started a new eating plan I had printed out on Monday and have already dropped those 3 stupid pounds I gained during my beach weekend. My pants are fitting much better and the round-the-middle-pudge doesnt seem as pudgy already! I am going to faithfully stick to this eating plan for this week and next week and see what results I get from it. I am wondering if I can get below 145 with this properly balanced, enough calorie eating diet!

There really isnt a name - I just googled 1400 calorie diets and found it on Womans Day website - its not technically a weightloss plan just healthy eating guidelines for people eating 1000-1400 calories (it told you how to modify for the different calorie goals). I had a metabolism test done and found I needed to eat 1400-1800 calories to maintain so I had to figure out a way to get in those calories in a healthy WLS friendly way so I found that plan and liked it because it pushed lean proteins, lots of veggies, fruits and whole grain carbs. I modified the plan based on what nutritional guidelines I was given to maintain weight (40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat) and basically made it my own.

I lost the 3 lbs, and have found 2 of them. but I'll admit i have been eating like Sh-t the last few days. Last night I even dumped...and this morning I bought my kids Jack In The Box french toast sticks without syrup, and hash browns one for each of them, and I wound up grazing on more then half of it for them since they weren't that interested. I can't believe I didn't dump off all that grease. We are talking in the neighborhood of 40 grams of fat! and 800 calories! For freaking breakfast! That's it, I'm not eating crap until my stomach starts growling later tonight.... I need to be more disciplined my doc gave me some simple guidelines a couple of weeks ago: Eat about 250-350 calories about every three hours, and try to eat 3 bites of lean protein to every bite of starchy carbohydrate and drink about 100 oz of water (so high, cuz it's summertime in the dry-ass desert) simple enough right? I need to get on the ball. I don't feel like I'm experiencing major regain, I just feel like I'm experiencing major loss of self-control - and that does NOT sit well with me! Somebody smack me!

I charge for beating.. so no free smackings! I find food logging always gets me back on track... forwhatever reason physically looking at what I am eating over the day helps with making better choices. It also requires more work and planning and I will pre-measure and bag out things so I can grab and go. Doing this for 1-2 weeks until I feel comfortable again help. I also chop up lots of veggies and fruit so if I want a snack they are the easiest to grab... and clear out some of the junk of course. Thankfully I am the one who shops and its only my BF and I and he will eat whatever is there without complaint so at this point I have almost complete control over the food around. Fast food. ugh. Chickfila is my only 'safe' fast food place... everything else tastes too salty. I avoid doing fast food breakfasts because I leave for work at 7am and dont want breakfast until 9... and as we all know reheated fast food is just nasty! If you havent tried the frozen Kashi waffles they are delicious - the blueberry is the best... and you just heat them up in the toaster! kiddie friendly! This is the first time I ever experienced a regain... typically any before was waterweight but this time I could tell it was actucal weight... I am getting further and further out and now I can see my 'bad' choices becomming less forgiving. I keep reading many people regaining at the 2-3 year mark so I am being extra cautious - my red flag weight is 150lbs.. if I hit that it time for a change. Ive even read some people on my surgery date board already have experienced/experiencing regain and that freaks me out! I also do not like feeling out of control (when it comes to almost everything in my life) I find once I feel in control again I am much more calm, happy and find it easier to stick to the healthy eating. I like the eat every 3 hour plan... I find I get bored when eating and just rather eat small amounts of food multiple times during the day.... it also allows more variety - I like 'buffet eating'..  a bite of this a bite of that... some 'experts' say thats not good because you dont get satisified but it works great for me... drives the BF nuts when we go out to eat because I tend to order a lot of food only to nibble a little bit off each item hehe. It definately takes time to get everything figured out and fall into a good pattern... I cannot imagine being told pre-op that at 2 years out I would still be messing with my nutrition!

You charge for beatings? Are you like Madame P / Petunia from "50 Pills"?
