20 weeks out
I just wanted to share. I am 20 weeks out today and have lost 49 pounds as of this morning:) I feel really great, and cant wait to hit my first HUGE milestone in my weight loss! Maybe tomorrow will be the day?
Anyway, I have posted some pictures on my profile if anyone wants to look. Now, if only I could wrap my mind around the emotional mental changes, I would be set. Its hard to feel most, if not all, of the physical changes at this point. I know I am not alone, just wanted to put that out there too...It just sucks sometimes. I just want to feel as good as I should. I will get there.
Hope you are all having a wonderful day! Happy Monday!

I can imagine. I know I have been on a fantastic voyage too.
You look great! I really like the yellow short sleeved jacket. Very cute.
And you will get there. I STILL "forget" that I'm 130 pounds and not 300 and sometimes if clothes touch my skin I feel like they are too tight and showing fat rolls, when I "know" I don't really have fat rolls anymore - but I still feels exposed or something. To some extent I think all people have feelings like this, so it is only natural that folks who have been through dramatic transformation via weight loss surgery are going to experience it to a greater extent.
Pictures help. And if you ever need a reminder that you look great, you know where I'll be

The emotional part of surgery I feel is the HARDEST...way harder than dealing with the pain and the food....in my opinion. I still have crazy days where I'm like, wow, who is that person looking back at me in the mirror? I don't believe it is me....feeling good in this new body is something I am working on and I think something many of us have trouble with.
You look awesome!!! Keep up the good work! :)
