Does beer strech out our stomachs?? And has anyone used Curves workout for Women ???

I know an RNY guy who drinks beer quite often. But then, he is gaining a little back, so, to each their own. Alcohol, as a whole, is so individual after WLS. Take me, for example, I can drink booze, hard alcohol and beer. I can drink a lot of booze, as a matter of fact. No ill effects. Some people can't. It is very individual! As for Curves, well, I know a few people that OWN Curves. Sounds like they are a good little business.

I don't believe it will. However, sometimes the carbonation can give you painful gas and alcohol is going to hit you differently (probably more strongly) post-op than pre-op. So if you are going to drink beer (and it is okay with your surgeon...) I would try it at home first. Love Curves!

No beer does not stretch our stomachs... there is *no proof* that carbonation stretched the pouch... if you think about it the theory that it does really doesnt make sense. I dislike Curves... I never felt like I got a good workout there... and it was pricey - here it costs just as much as a normal gym and a normal gym offers so much more.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I dont drink beer so I can't answer that one, but for curves I've checked it out, and It seemed like a good thing but was too expensive, and it looked like it would have gotten really boring after a while bc all it is, is that 30min circuit.
