Tummy Tuck Yesterday-HOLY CRAP BATMAN!

Well here I am, one day post tummy tuck and lipo....it ain't no joke!! i am swollen and numb and briused, whooooo. My RNY was hardly any pain, but I have met my match! Well one day at a time,,,I will be posting photos pe and post tummy throughout the healing process...little somethin, somethin for those who are pursing the same self mutilation! I'll be a little more gleeful and excited as I 'un-swell' and my bod shows! I can say, it's so weird not to have my belly resting at the top of my thighs, it's an odd feeling! Time to medicate!

It gets better - I'm 4 weeks out (one pic in my profile). You'll love it once the swelling goes down. Also, this is stupid advice, but don't buy pants while wearing your binder after the swelling goes down. It added an inch to my waist and I ended up having to go down a size just after taking off my binder. I was lucky that the Buckle just let me switch jeans to the right size, or I'd have been out a lot of money.

Thanks for the positive words! They're much needed right now.. I sit and sulk and wonder if and when this will get better! I know I am hella swollen so it is hard for me to look beyond that and think about what it will be like. The doctor could even see my expression and told me "you know thiis is not the final project, rite? Your very swollen." I feel like a flippin cow! Even my thighs are huge, my feet...ugh! Heffer! Ahhhh beauty is pain, rite? How much was removed for your surgery? They told me the pannus was about 6lbs and a liter of fluid, IDK if that's a lot.

They didn't say how much in weight, but they said they were able to pull down my stomach to my thighs and then did the cutting. I had no idea there was THAT much skin there... I seem to have lost about 2 or 3 pounds following my cosmetic procedures.
