We began counting our minutes starting Monday, March 31st and will continue through June 1st, with reporting (if you so choose) on the Board the following Monday.  The week runs Monday through Sunday, wherein  the totals for the previous week are posted the immediate Monday. ermath's  Ex-T 2.0 Log Week 1 – March 31 – April 6 = 605 minutes Week 2 – April 7 - April 13 = 340 minutes Week 3 – April 14 - April 20 = 525 minutes Week 4 – April 21 – April 27 = 150 minutes Week 5 – April 28 – May 4 = 625 minutes Week 6 – May 5 – May 11 = 435 minutes Week 7 – May 12 - May 18 = 210 minutes Week 8 – May 19 – May 25 = 330 minutes Week 9 – May 25 - June 1 TOTAL = 3,220 minutes This has been a VERY rough week for me, workwise, healthwise,motivation-wise. . .  I had to have surgery Monday that is restricting my activity, and so the last week of Ex-T 2.0 is going to be anti-climactic.  Ugh. How was your eighth week? Post your times, and I will announce the running totals Tuesday.

Kim:   If you can run 2 miles, you can run 3.2 miles.  Don't let your brain tell you otherwise.  Enjoy every minute of your first 5k!

Totally deflated in Week 8.  Once I found out my boss was "eliminating" my position, it was all I could do to remember how to button my pants and put on shoes.  Exercise?  yeah. right.  So I logged 45 minutes last week.  Terrible terrible terrible. Buttt, today I am heading back to the gym because as one very insightful OH member told me "if you can overcome your obesity you can overcome anything." Heather

I don't hardly recognize myself or my life anymore!

Heather:   Whoever said that is obviously brilliant. . .  Thisis one job.  You obviously were quite adept at what you are doing, and I'm sure you can parlay those skills into something else (and, hopefully, meaningful to you).  You are a tower of power, and it is your employer's loss.  Keep yourself as your top priority, keep your body moving,  and start sending out those resumes.  You will find a way to make things work. . .just look at what you have done for yourself thus far. . .

I spent most of last week really sore all over, and the rest of the week with soreness in my lowback, in the area of my herniated discs - which is scary, cuz I thought I was pretty much passed that...So, all I can log is 90 minutes for last week....Hoping to at least double that this week....

Michael:   As a fellow back pain sufferer, I'm afraid it is something that is never gone completely.  I have to keep moving and stretching daily as a preventative.  I am learning to accept it as one of those lifetime reminders of what super morbid obesity can permanently damage, and why a sedentary lifestyle is a waste.  Be sure to keep moving, though. . .it will help, I promise.

I haven't been good enough with my eating (not getting protein I should), so I don't think he'll be too pleased with that. Anyhow, enough rambling...hope everyone is well.

Congratulations on finishing the school year, and here's to a well-deserved respite this summer!  My mother and 4 closest friends are all teachers; I know how meaningful the end of the semester can feel.
