OK, so like many of you know, I just got home from the hospital. I had lap RNY and now I have a dent in my tummy....is this normal? Does the dent go away? What could the dent be? Just curious.

"A dent" - so like a little pucker on your stomach? If it is around one of your incisions I would say that is pretty standard and it has something to do with how you get stitched up.  I've had quite a few dents myself around incisions - still have one from where I had a tube in my stomach. If it hurts or causes other problems then I would start to worry about it, but until then, it is probably nothing to be concerned about.

Hahaha I had a dent and after my surgery I went to the bathroom and saw it and freaked out a litte. but when i saw my surgeon I asked her about it and she said it was normal but I was still a little freaked i think just because i was still a little loopy from the anatheasia.  But now I am four months down and its gone.

Normal. I had the same thing and it went away after a couple weeks. If they get red, rashy, or painful call your doc.
