hey there, I ate a LOT of eggs....but also cottage cheese, low sugar applesauce, vegetarian low fat refried beans, protein shakes, and lots of soups...luckily I wasn't in this stage for too terribly long!!!  hope you're feeling great so far!!!  Kim

I ate a lot of cottage cheese (I was allowed to have it with a couple saltine crackers just to make it super exciting - and also to "spice it up" I stirred in a tiny bit of spagetti sauce), chili run through a food processor and egg beaters. Personally, I do not care for refried beans, but they fit into the soft food category and they provide good protien - so if you like refried beans, go for it.  Try them with a little cheese, maybe a smidge of salsa and sour cream.   I am having brain failure, because I know I ate more than that but I just can't think of stuff now.  If my brain decides to function and I remember more I'll make sure to post. Always rememebr that this too shall pass and in a couple months (maybe sooner!) you'll be eating chewable things again.

I like all those ideas, my addition is spit pea soup - homemade, extra thick with little bits of ham for extrra protein...
