plastic surgery..how you can get it!

SO, I know that some of the insurance companies out there already may cover a percentage, or all of a tummy tuck, or some other plastics. If there is skin irritation in the folds, or if it hinders normal activity (like when people lose a LOT of weight, and have the "apron" of belly skin that hangs down, making it hard to move, exercise, etc.)  If you didn't know that...check with your insurance! You may have some problem areas that CAN be helped. However, I'll link to this post http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/ds/a,messageboard/action,r eplies/board_id,5357/cat_id,4957/topic_id,3615915/ this lady does a lot of work with lawyers and battles with insurance a lot to try to help people who've had WLS. she's done a LOT of work to help out a lot of people, especially for the duodenal switch surgery (which a lot of people don't know about, or may have heard weird things about).  Anyway, you MAY be covered if you just take a little looking into for it!  Just thought this might be a helpful thing for some people.  The reality is there are truly people who NEED the plastics, and could use the help and advice, and there are those of us who WANT it...but maybe we need it too, just not as badly. So, it's worth a look, right? And it never hurts to find a surgeon, and submit for the procedure to our insurance. Hey, we went far enough for WLS anyway, so why continue to feel bad about parts of our body, if we can help it, like we helped ourselves with the WLS? different scale, i know, but hey, it's woth a shot!!!
