Scale Help!
I use a Tanita digital scale and I love it. It is the same brand used by my surgeon and my new surgeon here too. I definetely think it is accurate. I love that it is digital and lets me know exactly where i'm at so I don't have to squint and try to estimate what a dial says. Some of the other things I love about it are the body fat composition analysis. It uses bio-impedance analysis which is not the most accurate method (water displacement in a tank is the best) but it lets me keep track of trends nonetheless. I also like that it has memory for up to four people so we can check what we were at the last time we weighed....I bought mine at target a few years ago for around 75 bucks...I went to Tanita's website and saw that they now have home models that will also tell you your muscle mass, water weight (would love to know that one each time!) visceral fat percentage, among other features....These new ones retail for around 100 dollars, you could do a google shopping search for the best deal online, or do it the old fashioned way and go to a store and get it "now" good luck...
I bought a sunbeam digital scale from walmart for $9.99 over 8 years ago... its still 100% accurate.
No frills on this scale... it gives you your weight only. Its always dead on with my Drs scales.
