BIG Accomplishment

Okay, so I thought I'd share with y'all....but I'm sooooo happy!  I had a major accomplishment yesterday and today.  Since I live in Orlando, I have annual passes to all the theme parks, but I never really go, cuz the last time I rode one of the coasters, I was asked to exit the ride..that was about 7 years ago, when I went to Bush Gardens in Williamsburg, VA.  That was NOT a good feeling, and I was always afraid to try any other rides after that, cuz it was embarassing.

Well, thats a thing of the past....I'm 80lbs lighter (back to the weight I was in high school)....and I rode every ride at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure both yesterday and today....granted I had to use the "modified" seating....but it was overly comfortable, and on Dr. Doom, they dont have the modified seating and I was able to fit in the regular chair, but had to have them pu**** down (still a tad bit snug). So I'm sooo happy, the surgery is already a success in my book, cuz I have more energy then ever and I'm out enjoying life again with all my friends!!

I just figured i'd share with y'all.  Hope everyone else is having a good Mother's Day weekend.  :)

Yay!  Awesome!  I'm hoping to plan an anniversary trip with my hubby down to Disney and Busch Gardens in November.  I can't wait to ride the rides comfortably too!

I had a similar experience with getting booted off a carnival ride for being too fat. It sucked. It was the first time I thought wow, I AM fat not just big-boned...lol...anyways, a couple months ago we took the kids to Legoland in San Diego and I got on the one and only adult ride there and totally enjoyed being thrown around in the roomy seat...

I totally feel you on this one!  I remember what a thrill it was to be able to fit on the Superman roller coaster at Six Flags - then every stinking roller coaster they have after that as many times as I could get on to make up for lost time. Congrats Thomas!  And it only gets better.  Here's to many more happy summers riding all the rides in the park

Whoohooo!!  What thrill!!! We should organize a big ol' party for all of us 20 WLS'ers at a big amusement park and go HOG WILD on those roller coasters!

I don't hardly recognize myself or my life anymore!

That is so great!  I bet you were pumped!  I am going down there this July for my 10 yr high school reunion and I am hoping to be able to go to a few parks.  Im thinking Universal for sure.  I cant wait to ride all the rides and not worry about fitting in the seat and being asked to leave!  LOL!   GOod for you!  You are doing so great!  A true inspiration!
