Eatin' Good in the 20's Neighborhood - Thursday
Another all nighter tonight to complete the sprint to the finish of my semester. Tomorrow is my last day of classes and next week my finals. For tomorrow I still need to finish 2 1/2 essays, put together my final - to submit for publication - advanced writing project, and prep for a final presentation. I've got 13 hours. That's plenty of time. But since I've been at the computer for close to 12 hours working on school stuff I ate pretty terribly...
9am - 1 med golden delicious apple
20 oz water
Noon - 1 slice Uno's deep dish pepperoni pizza
20 oz water
2-4pm - 4 oz peanuts, 2 oz almonds, 3 oz peanut butter M&M's
40 oz water
8pm - Another slice of Uno's pizza.
Yes, tomorrow a beautiful chicken caesar salad is in order.

I thought I'd get back in on here... since I've already told myself I need to get back on track...
Today I've had...
20 oz Passion Tea- unsweetened, decaffenated :)
Lunch: 1/2 Roast Beef Sandwhich on Sourdough with Avocado
20 Oz Green Tea Lemonade- unsweetened
Later... 2 Brownie Bites
Snack before practice: other half of sandwhich
Dinner: 2 Small Slices Pepperoni and Olive Pizza
And Just now at 11:30 PM! I had a bowl of cereal....ARGH
Tomorrow, I'm sooo being more conscious!

The more things the change, the more they're still the same.
I would never post pre-op because I was eating so much more than everyone post-op (which is to be expected). So my first full day home was yesterday and this is what I had.
8am- 4 oz. chocolate protein shake
1pm- 4 oz. chocolate protein shake
6pm -4 oz chicken soup protein
In between each meal, I kept sipping on water. I was quite the gulper pre-op so now I feel like it takes FOREVER to finish a bottle of water, but I did get in around 48 oz. of water yesterday....my goal is 64 for Friday....I may have to wake up earlier and stay up a little later to get it all in ;)
Thursday
Bfast- Clif's Builders Bar
Morning Snack- Muscle Milk- Mocha Joe
Lunch- 1/3 cup Yves Lettuce Wrap Stuffers (its like fake meat)
Afternoon Snack- 1/4 cup dry roasted edamame
Dinner- Tempeh Fakin Bacon- 4 slices
Before Bed- Muscle Milk- Mocha Joe
*Drank 2 liters of water throughout day
Today puts me at 117 gms of protein (I've been advised by doc to take in over 100 due to my athletic activities)
