new to the wls in your 20's forum =D

HELLO ALL YOU BEUTIFUL PEOPLE =D My name is Kimberly and I am from Ashland Kentucky.  I have been on OH.com for about 2 years now, and just now found this forum. I am 21 (will be 22 in july) and I just finished all my paper work, and now waiting on a surgery date =D I have been looking into weight loss surgery for about 3 years now and finally decided to do it, once I hit my breaking point..but anywho..I will love to talk to some people my age and how it has effected them..I know a few people who has had it done (lap RNY) but none my age =D so feel free to say hey to me I love talking to and meeting new people..and I wish everyone luck who is prepping for surgery..and congratz to everone who has already had it..bc it is a HUGE step and as an individual I am soo proud of ya'll =D Hope everyone has a good evening  Kimberly

I have to go have my upper GI done friday morning, and I am waiting for them to fax my cardiac clearance, and then when I have those on file they are going to set  me up with a date! so yay!  do you have one yet?

no, not yet. i had to fax my approval letter to my insurance lady at the hospital today and so im hoping she gets back to me by the end of the week with a date- yay! haha

I am sooo excited for you..looking at your pics you look like you have already lost some weight sooo good for you =D Everyone already seems so nice on here..so thats nice for a change haha...but let us know when you get your surgery date..and I just read you were from TN I plan on moving there when I get outta school...My fiance' and I went down there for an anniversary vacay and absolutely fell in love with it..so we are planning to move there here in the near future probably some where near pigeon forger or gatlinburg...We had about 10,000 put back for a house, but if my insurance didn't approve then we were going to self pay....but i got approved so i am definately excited..but good luck and I have you don't have to wait long for your date  =D

welcome!!!! yea ask any question you want here, NO ONE will ever yell at you or "flame" you for doing something.  Unlike the adults we are more relaxed and want to make sure we get our questioned answered and not be embrassed.  Keep us posted on your journey. BTW I know i called other ppl adults. even though 20 somethings are adults... I just dont feel like one most of the time. hahah
