A "Yeah-Right No-Way" Moment! (xpost)
Hmmmm.... me thinks my tushy is taking up less room on the Losers Bench cause this morning my stubborn bathroom scale FINALLY admitted me to the Half-Century Club!
That darn lil piece of junk has been sticking at 250lbs forEVER, whilst my lovely gym scale handed me my membership card last week. (I decided my first 50 lb loss wouldn't be official until the bathroom scale surrendered since that's the ghoul I battle more often!)
*INSERT EVIL VILLAN LAUGH HERE! Hahahahahahahaha!
Oh bathroom scale, you cannot hide from the ever-shrinking HEATHER!!!!!!!! You will surrender!!!!
Rockin' that 50lb loss mark and lovin it!!
But can I say that this is also slightly tinged with sadness because I just can't believe how fat I let myself get? How did I not see the gigantic disgustingness of what I looked like "Before"?
Hm. Now I need some help and inspiration in deciding how to celebrate my entry into the Half-Century Club!

Thank you!!! I still can't believe I've lost 50 lbs so quickly. Is surgery the easy way out? HECK NO!!! But has this new lifestyle been easier for me than dieting? HECK YES!!! I am so excited about how much less torturous this is for me and that my surgery is actually - gasp! - working!
Hmm... how to celebrate....
I'm lovin' the idea of new shoes or a massage. But in my heart, I'd really like to buy something that symbolizes such a big accomplishment, something that I can keep.
Jewelry perhaps?
