Broke an old man's heart...

Hahaha....just an update....how funny things can change in 4 days...soooo...the guy I posted about who I went on that big long crazy romantic (which now I realize was WAY TOO MUCH for a first date) date basically fell in love with me after that date....the second date he brought me a card and this snowglobe (yeah..WTF?!?!) and was saying all this stuff....so I even gave him a third chance two nights ago and I was just not feeling it AT ALL...so I was super stressed and did not know what to do...so I was honest and told him that I wasn't feeling it and good luck yadda yadda yadda...he was pretty upset....MAN...I never had to deal with this crap until now.........It sucks being a heartbreaker!!!  Hahaha......I'm taking a break from the whole online dating scene....plus...I haven't told you guys...I got a job as a camp counselor in Massachusetts this whole summer...I am the Assistant Art Director of Camp Taconic in Hillsdale Mass.  I'm PUMPED!!!  I'm going to be helping with all the art classes and staying in a cabin with 10 girls!!  My best friend from Cali is also working the camp too!  It's going to be the best summer ever!!!!!!!  The camp is up in the Berkshires and I hear it's beautiful there....YAY!  Anyway, just thought I'd update you and let you know that the older man is no longer.....

Sounds like fun! I went to a sleep-away camp just like that one - actually only about ten miles away from there - it was a blast - Just be prepared - bring tons of crystal light packets, because even if you don't dump "bug" juice is baaaaddddd....and you better bring internet access with you!

1) haha to the snowglobe.... how strange!!!! It's like if he's gonna get you something, at least make it like an ornament or something!  :-)  Anywho, thats awesome about the camp... I went to a "fat" camp last summer, it's called Wellspring.. I don't know if anyone has heard of it.  Well, I went as a last resort type of thing.  LOVED IT, i met so many great friends! it was amazing and really really fun. Unfortunately when i got back home and was back at college.... i gained 15 of what i lost back!  I know your camp isnt like that, but I can assure you it will be great!!! I wish i could go back and do camp again!  Lara

Awww, poor guy.  You must be magical, he he. But the camp... DUDE that sounds like soooo much fun!  I remember 4H camp he he.  And of course Band Camp (enter weird phrase from AP)...

OMG i totally had the same experience as you.  I met a guy online (we didnt meet in person tho) and he was crazy in love with me and i broke his hear too.  Also it got to be wicked creepy, but if you ain't feeling it your not feeling it, there will be a good guy out there for you.  MA in the summer is wicked nice and the berkshires is BEAUTIFUL.  If you get a weekend off I'll tell you all the fun places in Boston to go to!

Oh honey don't give up yet.  Just beware the older, still-single guys on the 'net, that's all I'm sayin lol.  There's generally a reason they're still single  =) Look at it as a learning experience.  Gotta kiss a few toads before you find the prince, right? Your camp thing sounds like so much fun, congrats!

I am pumped for you working the summer camp.   During my college days, I worked a summer camp for three summers.   That camp is still my favorite job to date.  You will make some great memories and leave an impression on those kids.  It will be awesome! ~ Leslie
