So this weekend i got a letter from my insurance company stating that they would pay 100% for a tummy tuck! The lady at the office told me she would #1 be surprsised if they covered anything, and if they did it would probably only be a panniculectomy which is just the removal of skin and no tightening! But little did she know how amazing my insuarance is!  So i am waiting on a call from the dr's office and i will probably schedule for the begining of August which is when my summer classes end (why did i feel the need to go back to school after having my degree already??!) Which means i have 3 months to kick myself in the ass and lose as much as possible so this surgery can be super successful!  Just wanted to share my good news that all things are possible :)  On with the pics, these were taken this weekend when my BFF was here from MI!

That is AWESOME!!  Congrats!  Your pictures are super cute - I love the one with Grissom. :) Who is your insurance?

I love grisom, so it was a must have pic! My insurance is through Messa, which is a part of BCBS of Michigan. My mom is a teacher so i have super good insurance through her til december of my 25th year, only 1 and a 1/2 years left on it, so i figured i should try for the tummy tuck before i have to use my own not so good insurance!

Wow! That is AWESOME news....I bet you feel like you won the lottery! And the full-on tummy-tuck to boot! Is that the "anchor cut?" My quest for plastics resumes today, The first surgeon I consulted with couldn't get me approved because my insurance company won't consider paying for the procedures unless they are performed in a hospital (he has his own operating room at his practice) So, his new partner, who does sometimes use the hospital, is finally contracted now with my insurance company, so I go in for a consult today - then the insurance waiting game....Wish me luck.... BTW-3 months to bear down - now you have an excuse to not be such a stranger around here

#1 CONRATS!!!!!!   That is amazing about the plastics getting approved! #2  You are frickin adoreable.  I love the first picture with the dress and the leggings...too cute.  And the one with the belt...yeah, you look great in all of them - and happy too which goes a long way toward the whole frickin' adorable thing.

Thanks Amy! If only they would of covered my chest.... :) I had a great weekend, i miss my friends in Michigan so when i see them i am in super happy mood 24/7! Like Michael said i am going to use these 3 months to get myself into gear because i would like to lose about 20 more pounds before surgery and i think that is doable in 3 months, So i will definitely be around more often!

Congrats on getting approval. When I went for my PS consults I had two seperate surgeons tell me I had to be done losing weight and maintain the loss for at least 3 months before they would surgery on me - they stated it would give the best result... if your PS didnt mention I would definately ask about that.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

Extended TT, lipo, fat injections - 11/2011

BA/BL/Arm Lift - 7/2014

Scar revision on arms - 3/2015

HALO laser on arms/neck 9/2016

Thigh Lift 10/2020

Congrats!!  That is awesome!!  That also gives me hope for my insurance :)  I have BCBS of Georgia, and it is amazing too.  I'm a ways from PS, but should still be on this insurance when I need it! CONGRATS!
