Date details for all those inquiring...lol...

Sooo....my date last night was absolutely amazing!!!  It's crazy....I'm just not used to guys treating me so well...so last night was definitely an eye-opener on how I should be treated!  He showed up with a dozen long stem roses (11 red and 1 white) and a card that said "In every bunch there is one that stands out, and that one is you"...how freaking cute is that!?!?!?!  He also complimented me all throughout the night calling me "stunning" and "gorgeous"...which...I have really never heard from a guy...I just giggled a lot.  Hahaha.  So he picked me up we drove up to San Francisco and he took me to the SF Beach which I had never been to...so we looked out over the pacific ocean and chatted for a while.  Oh, I almost forgot...when we were looking out over the ocean he was like "I have something else for you" and pulled out this little card that said "breakfast coupon" and on the back it said "good for breakfast any sunday morning"...I almost died!!!  hahaha....it was adorable but I'm not used to this romantic stuff!!!  I guess I need to start getting used to it...Then, we drove through Golden Gate park and headed to where we were going to eat dinner (a nice steakhouse).  I had a salad, filet mignon, and a few bites of rice pilaf (with the DS I can eat pretty much a whole plate of food!).  Then we went and saw the movie Prom Date because he knows I love horror movies....it was AWFUL...hahaha...I felt sooo bad since I know he picked it because he knew I wanted to see it!!!  Later he was telling me how he was absolutely stunned when I opened the door which was why he couldn't talk (which I'm glad he explained because I noticed he was pretty quiet at first when I let him in to my apartment building when he first picked me up).  He said he didn't even know what to say...lol...anyway, so after the movie he came back and we watched Garden State at my apartment.....and.....he was super cute and cuddly and adorable!!!  :)  He wants to hang out again tonight.  My only fear is that he will try to get too serious too quickly...I can tell he really likes me...and I like him, but I want to take things slow........we shall see what happens.  He owns an old classic firebird that he wants to drive me around in tonight and he's going to let me drive it!!  Haha, he said he's never let a girl drive it before.   Okay, well, those are all the juicy (well, I left out some of the juicier) details!!!!

Sounds like a nice time.  I know you don't want to hear this but all that attention for a first dat was sending off "player" flags in my head.  Bad past experiences.  I really hope he's a good guy!  Like you said, if he tries to ru**** he's not right.  Give him a good kick and march away LOL  But I'm glad you had a good time, all the same.  Just had to be the "what if" voice because I don't want anyone to have to deal with what I did, because it really sucked.

Aww, thanks for the concern...I totally see where you are coming from, and if he were my age I would think the same thing...but he's much older than me (38 actually)...so I think his player days are over....I just think he really knows how to treat a woman....well...hopefully that's what it is!!!!!
