Ok, to make it easier I uploaded an album of photos showing my excess skin. Overall I feel I came out pretty good except for my belly area - as you can see in my pre-op photos I was apple shaped and thats where I carried most of my weight. So enjoy :-) they are under the album post-WLS on my profile!

Thank you SO much for sharing this.  I too hold most of my weight in my stomach and I am far from optimistic that it will ever bounce back and look decent.  I also started at around the same weight as you, so it's great to see how you "turned out."  Are you definitely going to get plastics?  Of course I will cross that hurdle when I get there but it's hard to imagine I will ever be able to afford it.  Even if I start saving now, there are so many other things to save for too!!!  Anyway, congrats on your progress, you look amazing, and thanks again for sharing the pics.

Thank you for sharing, it takes a lot of strength to do that!!!   Personally at this point in my life, being as big as I am, I could not imagine getting to the point of sharing pictures of myself, and what I feel like are my flaws.    I know it is easy to pick at our bodies, but I think you look great!!!  Thanks again for sharing, I know going in being twice as big as I need to be for my height that I will have excess skin, it was great for you to share your experience with us!!!  ~Leslie

I think it all looks pretty good, considering!  Have you talked to insurance about a panni removal?  I just ask because it seems like it hangs pretty low, maybe there's a possibility for coverage? Do you think your skin tightened up a little bit between 6 months and 1 year or so?  I was just wondering since certain areas of my body ended up not looking quite as good as I had expected!  I really didn't expect my thighs to look so bad and I didn't know if there's possibility for them to get better or if it'll just get worse.

My current insurance excludes WLS and anything relating to it  - it has specific language not covering post-WLS skin removal even if medically necessary :-( I didnt hit my goal until 1.4 years out... its really been this year that Ive noticed the skin tightetning - but its much easier to see now since even a small change makes a big difference - at 6 months to 1 year out I still had a decent amount of weight to lose so I didnt really focus on how I was looking, I focused more on getting excess weight off.  Honestly getting to goal and upping my workouts and the weight training really helped - there is a link on my blog for a '4 week body makeover' that worked wonders on my arms/legs.
