Business Casual Meets Post Op RNYer

So I work in a sales position.  Our work attire is business casual.  Pre-op, I had all of the clothes I could need to work in!  Luckily, my boss is understanding, and allows me to wear jeans a few days out of the week, since all of my slacks fall off!  I never have a problem determining what is too big.  My coworkers NEVER fail to let me know I look rediculous!  They have laid down the law on several pairs of slacks, and shirts as well already.  I started in a size 26 in February, this year.  The pants I have on today are 22's, and they have been officially declared trash, by the work posse.  My absolute fav jeans, my Jessica Simpson's, were declared trash on Friday.  I was DEVASTATED!!!  LOL.  So, I have a few pairs of 20's that I purchased from Old Navy, and the Gap, that probably fit.  I've just been too scared to try!!  I guess now I don't have a choice.  It's just so crazy to be that close to being out of the 20's!  It's been so long.  I havent been at the weight I am now since 2002.  It's an amazing feeling.  This weekend, I started the Couch Potato to 5K training.  I thought I was going to DIE, but I made it!!!  YAY!  Oh, another wow, for me, when I lay in the tanning bed, the lid doesn't touch my body anymore!  Crazy weird, but cool!

The more things the change, the more they're still the same.

That is fabulous!!!  I also have been meaning to try the couch to 5k running plan but I have a SERIOUS fear of running.  I have never run on a treadmill in my life.  I especially don't want to try the first time at the gym with a million meatheads around me watching!!  Anyway, tangent... but good for you and thank you for lighting a little fire under my ass to try it!

I was terrified too!  I kept thinking the treadmill was making crazy loud noises(I had headphones on).  It wasnt, I kept checking, lol.  I decided I didn't care anymore if people watched me.  Now they are watching me shake and jiggle on a treadmill, and that's better than them watching me shake and jiggle out of McDonalds!!!!!  They should be as proud of us as we are!  Besides, who cares what they think?  Good luck, and TRY IT!!  It wasn't easy, but it did get better.  Good luck!
