Lol.  Ok, so high in protein, high in fat.  Where do we draw the line with nuts?  I like pretty much all nuts except almonds, and the ones that look like toes.  So what nuts are best for us?  What should we avoid?  They are an easy snack for me, to have at work.  What do I do?!  LOL

My nut said they are ok to have once in a while but don't rely on them as a daily part of your protein intake...instead rely on your meats and cheeses for daily snacks

Nuts are great as long as you don't eat too many of them. A serving size is only about a 1/4 cup...Depending on my appetite, that is usually not enough to satisfy me, so it is very tempting to eat too many...For that reason, I've been keeping them off my shopping list....but if you CAN control yourself, I've been told thaa Almonds and Cashews are the best for you since they have more protein then say, peanuts....Also, dry roasted means they aren't deep-fried and honey-roasted  = extra sugar. raw is best, smoked is good too....

Dang girl... those are the only ones I eat!  I get the Plain and Natural Almonds and keep 'em in my car for a snack while driving.  Cashews are ok... not as wonderful as almonds.  Have you tried walnuts?  They're tasty little suckers.
