exer-thon
Can you explain to me how the exer-thon works.. I am just shy of one month post op and cant do much exercise yet but I would like to participate somehow. Please let me know what I have to do.

It is really pretty simple. As a means for encouraging us to move our keisters, every week for nine weeks, everyone counts the number of minutes spent exercising (whatever that may be) during the previous seven days. On the following Monday (in this case TOMORROW), those participants that want to post their totals for the prior week are welcomed. You set your own personal golas (or not, completely up to you), and we will add everyone's time for the entire Exer-thon at the end of nine weeks. Just by posting, you are in. . .

awesome sounds great! I am limited to just walking for right now so i guess i will set a goal for 500 minutes of walking hope i am able to push myself to meet it.

You can do anything. Seriously. Find some music, find a friend, find a dog. . .find whatever it is that will help you enjoy walking, and then make it part of your routine. It was how I started exercising, and it is still something I do daily. My dogs expect it, and my body has become atuned to kick starting with a morning stroll. Welcome to the rest of your life!
