I did 60 minutes yesterday and I pushed myself and ran 1.5 miles without stopping... before my 'best' was 1 mile... I ran the 1.5, rested for .25, then ran another .25 mile up a slight hill... yaaaaaay me!

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

People told me for months that once you start running, 80% of your endurance is mental.  Breaking past those little barriers is the difference between stopping and finding that extra burst to take you through to the next mile.  Damn, if it isn't true. . . Keep chasing it!

My eye surgeon and a few other eye doctors told me no exercise for a week, as they don;t want sweat getting in my eyes.

To go sans glasses and/or contacts, and I was 20/400, it's WELL worth it.

Thursday activity for me: 90 minutes hiking 30 minutes riding around the neighborhood on my kid's scooter with them 45 minute round trip family walk to the grocery store - eco-freindly shopping! no gas, and no wasted plastic bags cuz I brought my backpack....I'm turning into such a hippie, I should go out and buy Birkenstocks! 165 minutes for today!
