Awwwe, now I feel loved.  I am here, though not as much as I would like.  I have cacoon-ed myself for a while working on my crazy research work and feeling a little sorry for myself.   I got some bad news last week.  Dr. Baker would not sign off on my much-anticipated trip to Rome and without his signature I can't go  and that was really, really hard.  The reason Dr. Baker won't sign off is I need more surgery because Prudence just won't die, which sucks On the research front I have picked a topic for my book and it is thanks in part to inspiration from you.  It'll be called For All the Things You Are:  A Tribute to Food in the American Conciousness and working on it makes me feel more hopeful and less bummed out about everything else.  I've got 15 stellar pages already So I'm here and okay, just taking a break while I get myself together.  Thanks for missing me.  It made me smile to know I've been missed

thats a bumma about Rome... but the good thing about that vs prudence is that once prudence is gone she'll be gone (hopfully) for ever... Rome will always be there! Good Luck on all of your research and surgery
