nutritional goal percentages

Im looking for those around a year plus out :-) were any of you given nutritional goal percentages? My NUT always gave me numbers... since having the metabolism test done and finding I need to eat much more I am not sure what my new goals should be. I know I could increase based on my current percentages but I believe as you get higher in calories the ratios change?
Either way, any responses would be appreciated :-)

Even if you were not given a percentage what is your opinion on how I should break down the calories... currently I am aiming to eat 1400... I need to know fat grams, protein (I was going for 80-100), carbs.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I am not a year plus out like you requested, but I did talk about this with my nut and I also asked her about how things would progress over time.  My nut said my diet should consist of about 1/3 protein, 1/3 fat and 1/3 carbs.  She said although the total calorie intake will increase these proportions should stay about the same as I get further out.  More protein is always ok, but less than 1/3 is no good.  I hope that helps.

That sounds close to what I am doing now - that would put your goals at approx 33% each. Looking back I was doing about 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carbs but that is for maintenance (my NUT ups carbs to maintain the loss)... I guess for now I will just stick to that. Thanks for the response!
