Sooo...Josh gave me the name of this website where they have a "Couch-to-5k" running schedule that is supposed to train you to be able to run a 5k in 2 months!  I started my training today!!!  It's AMAZING...my goal is to run a 5k in Fall.  Check out the running plan here: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml It is made for people who don't run...so it starts out easy...today I walked briskly for 5 min, jogged 1 min, walked 1.5 min...and so on for 20 minutes.  Wasn't hard at all...I can't believe that in a mere two months I will be able to jog 3 miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I can't wait!!!!!! Check it out!!!

I had started this program before when I was pre-op.  GREAT program -- they lay it out really well for you and all.  Of course, I'll have to start over again once I am cleared to work out.  The great thing about the program is that they stress that you can repeat weeks as you need to - if you aren't ready for more, it's okay. jayme
