Hey guys, I have been away for a little while. I was let go from my work on Monday so I am out of a job. I am going to have to cancel my surgery date in May becuase I don't know if I will be able to find a job in the enxt month and a half becuase of the economy.  I saved up over a grand to pay for the surgery flight and hotel stay for my boyfreind and i and now it will be paying for the next month of bills.  I'm heartbroken, even worse I am extremely worried about being able to find a job in time. We will end up getting kicked out of our apartment, losing our cars and probably living on the street if not with family. My boyfriend has a job but its not enough to pay for all our bills.  The minimum I need to do is get a 40 hours work week job that pays a minimum 10.50 an hour which you would think would be easy but living in Florida it means wages suck.  Of course being overwight and doesn't help the hiring situation.  Yeah, I'm sad and rather scared.  Hope all of you are doing a hell of a lot better then I am.

(((((((((huge hugs)))))))))))  I am so sorry to hear all of this.  I can only imagine how hard this must be for you.  I pray that you will find a wonderful job with excellent benefits very soon.  I pray that in the meantime you will be encouraged from people and places that you wouldn't otherwise expect it from.  I pray that you will be delighted and surprised at all of the good things that are to come for you.

Thank you for all the kind words Amy. I'm hoping I find all the above you mentioned as well. Until then I am just going to keep searching.

Rita, Have you ever thought of going to a staffing agency. While in school I did temp work for about a year and the month before I was about to graduate I was working for a land developer and when I got back from my graduation trip to Cozumel, they wanted me to come back and in less than a month they hired me on full-time at $18.50 an hour. It's always a thought!
