? bout exercising
I never heard anybody having to wait until after 6 months to do weights - I was cleared for weight training starting at 2 weeks post-op, just had to steer clear of ab wor****il after 2 months out.
You can use resistance bands to tone if you dont want to use weights - however there is nothing to be scared of - I have yet to hear of weights causing a hernia? I have been weight training off and on since surgery and am hernia free.
What I do for exercise -there is a post about it on my profile, I finished up a "4 week body makeover" plan that was weight training as well as cardio. Currently I have been focusing on cardio only and learning how to run... have been trying to build up my endurance. I also love to do yoga, tennis, golf, basketball, white water rafting, pole dancing, hip hop aerobics to name a few.
