I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF BEING YOUNGER *YOU THEY SAY BEING YOUNGER HELPS YOUR SKIN BOUNCE BACK A LITTLE BETTER* WELL I JUST WANT TO KNOW IF THAT WAS THE CASE WITH SOME OF YOU AND IF NOT WHAT ARE THE WORSE EXCESS SKIN AREAS
Pretty much any place you have stretch marks are areas of your skin that have lost their elasticity and will not bounce back. If you gained your weight slowly and don't have many stretch marks, you should be good following your weight loss. Me, I gained and lost and gained and lost so much weight over the years, and it happened fast, so I have excess skin in those areas where I have a lot of stretch marks. To the plastic surgeon for me in a month!

It will bounce back a LITTLE better, but being younger we want to have a better body - so no matter how much it bounces back we still wi**** could be better - my advice is to start saving for PS now.
The worse areas are the same for everybody - arms, stomach, thighs.... then we lose our boobs and butt.
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1

I agree with both of you....where my sretchmarks were is where my worst skin is...I started at a BMI of 43 so it could be a lot worse, but asthetically it is definetely very noticable mainly around my abdomen and man-boobs...I'm hoping for plastic surgery sometime later this year if the surgeon I consulted with late last year can get on-board with my insurance company...

i know women who were 28 when they had this surgery, been fat her whole life and because she drank tons of water, exercised every single day and did what she was supposed to do, plus some, her skin snapped right back down to a size to where it has never even been...
i know a woman around the same age who spent the whole post op at the gym only 2 times a wk, still battled food addiction and even tho she lost over 100 pound and is down to 160, she is a saggy mama.
basically, you have to bust your ass big time to get the skin back. dont listen to any of the well your young enough crap because its not the truth. i have seen women in their 40's turn out looking better than a 20 yr old...
you have to work out A LOT! drink up on tha****er because thats the main thing and do everything you can on your side to snap back. it really all depends on you.
i am still pre-op but i have lost 40 pounds since my consultation and i dont have anything sagging because i bellydance everyday and even as i sit in my chair at work, i roll my abdomen all day and even tho i still got a gut, you can see what is gonna be a 6 pack forming underneath.
stretch marks fade a little, but tanning pretty much hides them for good.
im expecting after my loss (i have 130 to lose) i will have a tionny bit of jelly on my belly but i also have a 5 yr old so pregnancy might have helped that happen.
my arms im gonna work on real good and my boobs i know im gonna need a lift cuz i need one now lol.
the only thing you can do is work as hard as you can take it and see what happens.

I was only 20 when I had surgery (now 21) and I have a lot of excess skin. I knew there would be some on my stomach and arms, but I wasn't expecting excess skin on my thighs, and I have a lot. I contribute the excess skin to my high starting weight and the short amount of time it took me to gain all that excess weight.
My face, hands, and feet are pretty much the only areas on my body that snapped back fine..lol
