Oh my LAWDD!!
So yesterday after walking 30 minutes on the treadmill. I decided to try out my newest purchase. Which is the urban rebounder. A mini trampoline with a stablizing bar so you have something to hold on to. Well, I did that thing for 12 minutes and totally got all funky bouncing on it to my music. lol, I was glad no one was home to see me. Anyway, my stomach which is like a large tumor that hangs from my body, as it is mostly disgusting sagging skin was flopping around. Now it really hurt to jump after awhile, and I ended up holding my stomach so it wouldn't flop. Well, this morning I woke up and my entire abdomen is killing me. I feel like I was in a serious accident and possibly both ribs were ripped out! Oh My LAWDDD is all I can say. I'm seriously dreading getting back on the thing today, but I will. I need to find like a super tight fitting exercise shirt that will keep me in place. Stupid stomach! I can't wait to get it chopped off someday!
awww man that suuuuucks! I know one of my friends' daughters who had RNY plays softball a lot, and she wears one of those all-in-one shapers to keep everything in place. I know you can sometimes find them on clearance racks at any store really, even Belk and Dillards (if you have those, or Macy's) for like 20 bucks. They're not the super firm shaping ones, but they're light-duty and will keep things from flopping too much
Oh wow. I'm so sorry. I think Jen has a good idea - see if you can get a shaper, kind of like a sports bra for your belly skin. Make sure you document stuff like this, so if down the line you have more reasons the insurance co should pay for plastics!
By the way - WTG on the exercise! Getting that urban rebounder was a bold move, and to keep at it is even better. Good for you.
