ugggh this 2nd job is killing me! I am snack snack snacking because I dont know when to eat! pre b - ff soy milk with SF chai tea mix b - jimmy dean delite bfast sammie s - 6 almonds l - shredded chicken taco (other nites leftovers), cottage cheese w/pineapple s - 2 donuts, yes two.. one glazed, one frosted. ugh., 100 calorie bag of popcorn (this was all during the course of the afternoon) pre-work - detour bar work break snack - 6 cotton candy jelly bellys (we sell bulk stuff, its a nitemare... little taste here, little taste there), handfull of pistacios d - chikfila SW chicken salad, glass of milk and a freakin reeses pnut butter cup (thanks to the BF who bought a twix, snickers bar, reese whipps bar and the BIG packge of pnut butter cups home the other nite - *******!) I never was big on sugar pre-op, now post-op I keep getting sugar cravings... dont know if its because my taste buds changed, its something mental because I didnt have a 'problem' pre-op with sugar so its an 'ok' food in my mind or if my body is needing something. I had bloodwork done last week, waiting on the results. I need to get my metabolism testing done... maybe I need to eat more calories so my body is craving sugar as a way to get me to eat? *sigh*

Evil sugar-bearing boyfriends!  lol  I guess you're not a "dumper" huh?  But the good part is, you KNOW what you did and tomorrow's (well, today) always another day.  So, enjoy the sugar that you DID have, don't feel guilty over it, and try to plan ahead based on your new work schedule.  Can you keep any non-perishable good choices at your desk (or wherever you work)?  I've got some baked cheese and later when I'm able to eat them I have some Kashi bars. I don't know why I'm saying this because you've been doing this a lot longer than I have  =)  just wanted to offer some support and say don't feel guilty just start over today.

I just started a 2nd job which is why I am in a tail spin - since surgery I have worked and gotten on an eating schedule so now Im all thrown off.  I leave job #1 at 5pm and get to job #2 at 530pm and dont get off until 9pm during the week - I only work one weekend day and it can be anything... but typically its a longer shift so I get a set lunch. During the week shifts I only get a 15 minute break. I cant eat dinner before work because its too early... cant eat during the 10 minutes because its not enough time, I tried once and felt so yuck because I had to scarf my food - eating when I get home at 945 stinks. So basically Ive been having my normal 3pm afternoon snack, eating another snack to tide me over during the drive to work, then eating another snack at work to tide me over until its dinner time. Just trying to get it all figured out, to add to it I am exhausted in the evening and dont want to put together my food for the next day so I have been lazy about packing enough to make it thru breakfast, lunch and snacks *sigh* hahah hopefully in another 2 weeks or so Ill get it figured out. I had a detour bar I was going to eat today at the 2nd job and my freakin BF ate it - I said, there were only TWO in the cabinet... and I work TWO nights this week - you didnt put TWO and TWO together? He ate the freaking thing for breakfast - he doesnt wor****il 11am, plently of time to get his @$$ up and make a 'normal' breakfast, no need for a freaking protein bar. Hes like, Ill get you a new one... yeah so you see today I am detour bar-less :-)  Either way, at the 2nd job its a cashier to I cant keep anything with me... no eating/drinking while at the register. bleh! Advice is always welcome thou - doesnt matter if you are 1 week out or 1 year out, its helpful to have somebody on the outside look to see if you are missing something!

WOW...you should TOTALLY study in Rome!!!!  I studied in Florence for a semester in college and lived there for 4 months...it was the most amazing time in my life!!!  I only with I could have done it after WLS so I could have been at a decent weight...but....it was aaaaamazing and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.  I visited Rome several times and it was gorgeous and soo much fun!!  Let me know if you have any questions or anything about Italy! :)  Good luck getting everything worked out!
