Good evening 20-somethings! Thanks to everyone who filled out the survey thing.  I just think they are fun (and enlightening).   It is has been another painful day for me today.  I woke up around 7am when my pain meds wore off, and I couldn't get back to sleep.  I was a little bitter about that because I could have slept later (and I was tired and wanted to!).  But whatcha gonna do?  I am now 99% convinved I have a hernia because I saw a picture of what hernias look like and that is pretty much what is going on on my belly.  So I am 99% sure I'm in for more surgery and that bums me out.  But ya still gotta eat... 8am - 8 oz decaff coffee w/ 4 oz steamed milk and 1 oz sf hazelnut davinci syrup 20 oz water 10am - 1 ka****LC honey almond flax granola bar 20 oz water 1pm - a serving of my pepperoni / cheese concotion from yesterday (heated up in the oven - very yummy) 10 oz water 2:30pm - 1 banana 10 0z water 5pm - 1 oz peanuts, 1 oz almonds, 1 oz peanut M&M's 10 oz water... Planning on (around 8ish) having some steamed broccoli w/ chicken seeing as I am seriously lacking in the veggie department for today.  So how is it going out there?

I was Suzy Homemaker today and made Beef Fiesta Bites (got the recipe from Eggface here on OH) and they are AWESOME.  They're like crustless mini quiches)  I also made enchilada casserole for the family tonight, and plan to make some chicken meatballs in a few minutes. B - Myoplex Mocha Latte S - 1 fiesta bite (I had to make sure they were okay!) L - Well I attempted to have a chicken and mushroom "pizza" on a low-carb tortilla.  Except I didn't chew the chicken well and it came back up.  Grr.  I was in a ru**** was my fault. D - Innards from 1/2 a piece of enchilada casserole (no tortilla - ground beef, refried beans, cheese, sour cream, olives, green chillies, enchilada sauce) S - Will either have two more fiesta bites or a few meatballs after I make them Vitamins - check!  I was cleared for chewables so I got Flintstones Complete.  I noticed many of you take two of these though 1 serving is 1 tablet.  My doc didn't specify.  I was just curious why you take 2, if you do. Miles - zip, unless housework counts Other - weigh-in tomorrow by me, in the gym

Ok, this is my first attempt and putting down on here what I ate.  I need more protein still today.  I haven't been hungry the past two days, so my cals have been super low, but I know I need at least 70g protein.  So one more protein shake I'm at 66, and maybe some cheese later will get me over. B--Micellar Milk Chocolate--8 oz. S--SF popscicle L--1 oz. Canned Chicken with a slice of cheese melted on D--6-8 Baby Carrots cooked soft with about 1.5 oz deli sliced roast beef Been sipping water and decaf unsweet tea all day... My food tracker says 15g fat, 18g carbs, and 46g protein and a total of 398 cal.  Weird...not even hungry.   Exercise---just some walking around house...still tender if up too long (pulling) Going back to work tomorrow...woohoo (very sarcastic)

May I offer a suggestion?  I notice that a lot of what you are eating is mushy food - the yogurt and protien shake especially.  Since it is mushy it moves through your pouch a lot faster, leaving you hungry again sooner.  If you are looking to curb your appetite, try throwing some fruit or granola or something I like is the kashi go lean cereal in with the yogurt to give it some bulk (and the kashi is an excellent added source of fiber and some protien too) so it'll stick around in your pouch longer.  Just a thought.  Really in the scheme of things, your menu doesn't sound bad to me at all.

Yesterday was just a total lazy sunday for me. I went to the movies that morning and saw Penelope. Let me just say it was totally adorable.  Breakfast-small popcorn and milk duds and a small diet coke at the theater Lunch-it was a horrible lunch but I had been craving one lately. Waffle bowl with sweet cream ice cream mixed with oreos and snickers candy bar from Marble Slab Dinner-Dad is a hunter and for some reason when mom is gone and we have to cook dinner he always fixes some kind of game meat. He grilled this bird called a chucker. He should have asked me what I wanted on it because the seasoning was not good at all. On half of them he used a citrus lime flavor and the other half he used Head Country. Some good ole' Lawry's seasoning salt would have worked just fine. He also did some grilled veggies (green and red bell pepper, white and purple onion and mushrooms) which turned out great! I baked us one sweet potato to share. I always put a little butter and some cinnamon sugar with a tablespoon of cheese and fat free sour cream. Consumed 80 oz. of water for the day.
